Network System Administrator/Linux Admin
TS/SCI/Poly clearance is required
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for all customer-facing engagements/interactions, including receipt of specifications, design, test, and response to service requests.
- Debug and test networks, analyze technical projects, perform needs assessments, analyze and/or oversee cost and benefit estimates, presentations, negotiations, installations, problem resolutions, procurements, and multi-vendor product integration.
- Provide initial engineering and implementation support of networks to assure proper execution and provides resolution for system failures or degradations, as needed.
- Provide project management and documentation, as required. It is expected that the candidate will at times participate in, and / or facilitate stakeholder meetings as required. Proven ability to delegate tasks, comprehensively and in parts is necessary to be successful in this environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with network/system administration
- Linux Experience – maintaining CENTOS, REdhat/RHEL, or SUSE.
- Maintenance VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines
- Experience with basic containerization technologies like Docker and/or Podman
- Familiarization with Cisco networking devices (e.g. Firewalls, Switches, ISRs) to include device integration and configuration.
- Analyze the planning, design, development, and implementation of system and network engineering plans
